What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that invites the body into a state of deep relaxation while the mind remains gently aware.
Often referred to as “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra allows you to rest at a profound level that goes beyond ordinary relaxation. It is a structured practice where you are guided through stages of awareness, breath and gentle focus.
Unlike traditional meditation, there is no need to concentrate or control the mind. Instead, you are invited to simply follow the guidance and allow your body to settle into stillness.
Yoga Nidra is widely used to support stress reduction, emotional balance and overall wellbeing.

Yoga Nidra is often experienced as a powerful reset for the body and mind.
Regular sessions may support:
- Deep relaxation and stress relief
- Improved sleep quality
- Reduced anxiety and mental tension

What to Expect in Your Online Yoga Nidra Session
Your Yoga Nidra session will take place live via Zoom or Google Meet in your own time zone.
At the beginning of the session, your practitioner will briefly connect with you and guide you into a comfortable resting position. Most clients choose to lie down, using a mat, bed or sofa.
You will then be guided through a structured meditation that includes body awareness, breath awareness and gentle visualisation techniques.
There is no movement required during the session. Your only role is to listen and relax.
Many clients drift between wakefulness and sleep, which is a natural and beneficial part of the process.
At the end of the session, you will be gently guided back to full awareness, often feeling refreshed, calm and deeply rested.
